Manohar Lal Khattar inaugurates CII -YBLF COVID Care Centre at Gurugram

NEW DELHI: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar inaugurated a 350 Bedded COVID Care Centre today at Gurugram.

The facility has been set up by CII and Young Business Leaders Forum of ACMA in association with the District Administration, Gurugram with support from Indian Air Force and M3M Foundation.

 While inaugurating the COVID Care Facility, Shri Manohar Lal said that the Government of Haryana is taking all possible steps to counter the Second Wave of COVID-19 and this COVID Care Centre is one of such initiatives.

 Appreciating the efforts made by CII towards supporting the Government of Haryana in the fight against COVID-19, the Hon’ble Chief Minister said that representatives from CII have always been interacting and submitting useful suggestions to the State Government regarding containment of COVID-19 as well as ensuring minimum loss of livelihood.

 Speaking on the occasion, Harbhajan Singh, Chairman, CII Special Task Force on Ease of Doing Business in Haryana & Head of Strategy & HR, XLRI Delhi said that the facility is a L1 COVID Care Centre with oxygen cylinders and oxygen concentrators for mild to moderate COVID-19 patients that is attached with a L3 Civil Hospital for referring critical patients.

On ground management of the Centre will be handled by an experienced team from Doctors for You with support from Civil Surgeon, Gurugram and the centre will be stocked with sufficient quantity of required medicines and other necessary equipment, furniture and fixtures for its effective operation, added Mr Singh.

Dr Yash Garg, Deputy Commissioner, Gurugram appreciated the efforts made by CII and YBLF towards this noble cause and said that as always the industry in Haryana has risen to the occasion. Senior representatives from the District Administration, Gurugram; CII, Indian Air Force; Doctors from You; and M3M Foundation amongst others were present during the inauguration ceremony.
