More than 5 crore Covid-19 vaccine doses administered in India

NEW DELHI: India has crossed a significant milestone in the fight against the global pandemic. The cumulative number of Covid-19 vaccine doses administered in India has crossed 5 Crore today.

A total of 5,00,75,162 vaccine doses have been given, as per the provisional report till pm today.

These include 79,03,068 HCWs who have taken the 1st dose and 50,09,252 HCWs who have taken the 2nd dose, 83,33,713 FLWs (1stdose), 30,60,060 FLWs (2nd dose), 2,12,03,700 beneficiaries more than 60 years old and 45,65,369 beneficiaries aged 45 and above with specific co-morbidities.

Total 15,80,568 vaccine doses were given till 7 pm today, the Sixty Seventh day of nationwide COVID19 vaccination. Out of which 13,74,697 beneficiaries were vaccinated for 1st dose and 2,05,871 HCWs and FLWs received 2nd dose of vaccine as per the provisional report. Final reports would be completed for the day by late tonight.
